BHEL bags order for Nuclear Steam Generators from NPCIL against stiff competition<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h1>

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has won a major order for the supply of 12 Steam Generators from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL).<\/span><\/p>

Valued at Rs. 1,405 crore, the order has been won under NPCIL\u2019s Fleet Mode procurement programme and mandates supply of 12 Steam Generators for India\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>highest rated indigenously-developed 700 MWe Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) to be set up at four different locations in the country. The Steam Generators<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will be manufactured at the Tiruchirapalli plant of BHEL.<\/span><\/p>

Alembic Pharmaceuticals announces USFDA final approval for Erlotinib Tablets<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/h1>

Alembic Pharmaceuticals received final approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Erlotinib Tablets, 25 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg. The approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD), Tarceva Tablets, 25 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg, of OSI Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Erlotinib Tablets are indicated for the treatment of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors have epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 19 deletions or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutations as detected by an. FDA-approved test receiving first-line, maintenance, or second or greater line treatment after progression following at least one prior chemotherapy regimen. Erlotinib Tablet in combination with gemcitabine is indicated for the first-line treatment of patients with locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic pancreatic cancer.<\/span><\/p>
