Indian Indices closed higher as metal stocks and FMCG shares gained on Monday. The Sensex closed 0.26% higher at 55,582.58 and Nifty closed 0.21% up at 16,563.05.<\/p>

Among sectoral indices Nifty Metal advanced 1.48%, Nifty FMCG gained 0.3% and Nifty Energy was up 0.55%. Tata Steel jumped 3.95% and Bajaj twins were top gainers. EaseMyTrip<\/strong>: Online travel firm posted a multi-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 15.42 crore in Apr-Jun quarter, from a net profit of Rs 2.49 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Total income stood at Rs 34.75 crore in the quarter, as against Rs 12 crore in the year-ago period.
