The benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices are expected to open flat on May 27, following GIFT Nifty trends indicating a loss of just 7 points for the broader index.

US stocks rebounded on Friday from sharp losses the day before on news of an improving consumer outlook on inflation, sending the Nasdaq to a fifth straight week of gains and record closing high. The S&P 500 gained 0.70%, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.10%<\/span>

Asian shares edged higher on Monday as investors braced for a busy week of data which culminates in a key U.S. inflation report that could set the stage for a cut in interest rates. Nikkei  0.14%, Topix  0.19%, Hang Seng  -0.03%, Kospi 0.54%.<\/span>

<\/b><\/strong>The power generation company\u2019s Q4 standalone profit falls <\/b><\/strong>2% to Rs 5,556.4 crore Vs Rs 5,672.3 crore\u00a0and Revenue rises 2.9% to Rs 42,532.2 crore Vs Rs 41,317.9 crore. Consolidated Q4 YOY Profit surges 33% to Rs 6,490 crore Vs Rs 4,871.6 crore\u00a0and Revenue increases 7.6% to Rs 47,622 crore Vs Rs 44,253.2 crore. \u00a0The company has announced a dividend of Rs 3.25 per share.<\/span><\/p>

Bosh:<\/strong>
The engineering company\u2019s Consolidated Q4 profit grows 41.5% to Rs 564.4 crore Vs Rs 398.9 crore\u00a0and Revenue increases 4.2% to Rs 4,233.4 crore Vs Rs 4,063.4 crore. The company has announced a final dividend of Rs 170 per share.<\/p>

Rail Vikas Nigam
<\/b><\/strong>The company has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a project worth Rs 187.34 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Nagpur Metro). The project involves the construction of six elevated metro stations in Phase 2.<\/p>
