At the close, the Sensex stood at 81,867.55, up by 0.15 points, and Nifty closed at 25,010.9, up by 0.24 percent.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Coal India, Power Grid Corp, Shriram Finance, Dr Reddy&#8217;s Labs, and ONGC were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were M&amp;M, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, and SBI.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Among sectoral losers, Nifty Media led with a 1.9% drop, followed by Nifty Realty and Nifty PSU Bank, down 1.7% and 1% respectively. Consumer Durables and IT indices fell 0.5% and 0.4%. On the gainers&#8217; side, Nifty Oil and Gas rose by 0.4%, and Nifty Healthcare increased by 0.3%.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Nifty Midcap index also touched a fresh high of 59,290.05, intraday, but ended 0.85 percent lower at 58,490.40.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3e74bdd5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3e74bdd5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>STOCKS TODAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sapphire Foods India:<\/strong> Shares jumped 3 percent after brokerages reiterated bullish calls on the stock after the Pizza Hut and KFC operator reported in-line earnings for the quarter ended June 2024.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Coal India:<\/strong> Shares rose 3.5 percent after the company reported a 4.2 percent YoY rise in consolidated net profit and a 1.3 percent increase in its revenue for the quarter ended June.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Teamlease Services:<\/strong> Shares fell 7 percent after the company reported a year-on-year decline in its net profit, EBITDA, and operating margin for the June quarter.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>KRBL:<\/strong> Shares of the Basmati rice exporter dropped 7.5 percent after the company reported a weak set of June quarter results. Its profit plunged over 55 percent YoY to Rs 86.6 crore and revenue from operations fell a little over 15 percent.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>GE T&amp;D India:<\/strong> Shares were stuck in a 5 percent upper circuit after it reported a multi-fold rise in its net profit to Rs 134.5 crore during the June quarter, mainly on account of higher income.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Aster DM Healthcare:<\/strong> Shares gained 6 percent after its first-quarter revenue rose over 19 percent, in line with analysts&#8217; estimates. The company&#8217;s revenue from operations increased nearly 24 percent.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sonata Software:<\/strong> Shares tanked 9.5 percent after the IT firm reported a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 105.60 crore, down 4.3 percent sequentially or 12 percent YoY.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Relaxo Footwears:<\/strong> Shares fell 2.5 percent after the company reported a weak set of June quarter.
