PRE-MARKET REPORT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The Indian stock market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 are likely to face volatility on Saturday, as the Union Budget 2025-2026 is announced in Parliament today.<\/span><\/p>

The trends on Gift Nifty indicate a weak start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 23,533, a discount of nearly 87 points from the Nifty futures\u2019 previous close.<\/span><\/p>

The Indian stock and commodity markets are open today, as the BSE, NSE, and MCX have announced a special trading session on Budget Day.<\/span><\/p>

On Friday, the domestic equity market indices ended with substantial gains, with the Nifty 50 closing above the 23,500 level.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

STOCKS TODAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

ONGC:<\/strong> Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reported a net profit of \u20b98,240 crore in Q3FY25, falling short of the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of \u20b99,484 crore. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, net profit declined 31.2 percent from \u20b911,984 crore in Q2FY25. The PSU oil major\u2019s revenue stood at \u20b933,716.8 crore, reflecting a marginal decline of 0.5 percent QoQ from \u20b933,881 crore, though it exceeded the poll estimate of \u20b931,700 crore.<\/span><\/p>

Sun Pharma:<\/strong> Sun Pharmaceutical Industries reported an 18.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit to \u20b93,033 crore for Q3FY25, up from \u20b92,557.6 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. This exceeded the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of \u20b92,879.3 crore. Revenue from operations grew 10.5 percent YoY to \u20b913,675.4 crore from \u20b912,381 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.<\/span><\/p>

IndusInd Bank:<\/strong> IndusInd Bank posted a 39 percent YoY decline in standalone net profit for Q3FY25, coming in at \u20b91,401 crore, compared to \u20b92,298 crore in the same period last year. The private lender\u2019s interest income stood at \u20b912,801 crore, marking an 11 percent increase over \u20b911,572 crore in Q3FY24. On a consolidated basis, profit after tax (PAT) fell 39 percent YoY to \u20b91,402 crore from \u20b92,301 crore in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, net interest income (NII) declined to \u20b95,228 crore in Q3FY25 from \u20b95,296 crore in Q3FY24.<\/span><\/p>

Vedanta:<\/strong> Vedanta Ltd reported a 76 percent YoY increase in its consolidated net profit for Q3FY25, reaching \u20b93,547 crore. Revenue from operations rose 10 percent YoY to \u20b938,526 crore, while consolidated EBITDA surged 30 percent YoY to \u20b911,284 crore. Margins improved by 517 basis points (bps) YoY to 34 percent. Executive Director Arun Misra attributed the strong performance to cost optimization and production ramp-up across key business segments.<\/span><\/p>

LIC Housing Finance:<\/strong> The company’s net profit stood at \u20b91,432 crore in Q3FY25, marking a 23.1 percent increase from \u20b91,163 crore in the same period last year. However, NII came in at \u20b91,997.1 crore, missing the poll estimate of \u20b92,028 crore and recording a 4.8 percent decline from \u20b92,097 crore in Q3FY24. The company reported a write-back of \u20b943.98 crore, in contrast to an impairment expense of \u20b9435.83 crore in the year-ago period.<\/span><\/p>

IRB Infrastructure Developers:<\/strong> IRB Infrastructure Developers posted a 2.9 percent YoY rise in revenue, reaching \u20b92,025.4 crore in Q3FY25, compared to \u20b91,968.5 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA increased 13.2 percent YoY to \u20b9984.1 crore from \u20b9869.2 crore in Q3FY24.
