Gift Nifty indicates a positive start for the broader index in India, with a gain of 128.5 points or 0.52 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 24,519 level.<\/p>

US stocks closed higher on Thursday, rallying for a third straight day with a solid boost from technology shares. Investors parsed a mixed bag of corporate earnings and watched for signs of progress in the U.S.-China tariff stand-off.<\/p>

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 486.83 points, or 1.23%, to 40,093.40, the S&P 500 gained 108.91 points, or 2.03%, to 5,484.77, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 457.99 points, or 2.74%, to 17,166.04.<\/p>

On Friday, Asian stock markets headed for a second straight week of gains, and the dollar for its first weekly rise in more than a month.<\/p>

Japan\u2019s Nikkei share increased by over 1.3 percent, Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng also increased by 0.92 percent, and the Taiwanese benchmark had a massive increase of 2.41 percent.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Container Corporation of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GAIL (India) to develop LNG infrastructure at various CONCOR terminals across India, aimed at ensuring uninterrupted LNG fuel supply for CONCOR\u2019s road transportation requirements.<\/p>

The technology services and consulting company has announced the launch of its GitHub centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, aimed at accelerating AI vision.<\/p>

The Board has approved a rights issue of 1.50 crore equity shares worth Rs 40.71 crore with issue price fixed at Rs 27. The rights issue will open on May 13 and close on May 26.<\/p>
