Gift Nifty indicates a negative start for the broader index in India, with a loss of 9.5 points or 0.04 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 24,960.50 level.<\/p>

The S&P 500 eked out a record closing high in a volatile session on Friday, with interest rate-cut expectations holding up as the U.S. government shutdown went on for a third day. The Dow also posted a record closing high, but the Nasdaq ended lower.<\/p>

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 238.56 points, or 0.51%, to 46,758.28, the S&P 500 gained 0.44 points, or 0.01%, to 6,715.79, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 63.54 points, or 0.28%, to 22,780.51.<\/p>

Asian stocks climbed to a record, led by Japan, while gold advanced to an all-time high and Bitcoin hovered near its recent peak as investors bet looser monetary policy and accelerating AI investment will bolster risk appetite.<\/p>

Japan\u2019s Nikkei went up 4.52 percent, while Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng went down 0.49 percent.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

Flipkart Investments is likely to offload up to 6% of its stake in Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands through a block deal valued at approximately $112 million.<\/p>

Vodafone Idea<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The Board has appointed Tejas Mehta as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective October 6, following the completion of Murthy GVAS\u2019s tenure as CFO.<\/p>

The company achieved its best-ever September production of 1.52 lakh tonnes, registering a 3.8% growth over the corresponding period last year. Exploratory core drilling surged significantly, reaching 5,314 meters, a 46% YoY growth.<\/p>
