Gift Nifty indicates a muted start for the broader index in India, with a loss of 5 points or 0.05 percent. The Nifty futures were trading aroundthe\u00a0 25,161 level.<\/p>

The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq advanced on Monday, as artificial intelligence-related dealmaking boosted investor sentiment even as the U.S. government shutdown extended through its sixth day.<\/p>

The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 reached record closing highs, while the blue-chip Dow inched lower.<\/p>

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 63.31 points, or 0.14%, to 46,694.97, the S&P 500 gained 24.49 points, or 0.36%, to 6,740.28 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 161.16 points, or 0.71%, to 22,941.67.<\/p>

Japanese shares extended their rally after the election of a pro-stimulus lawmaker as the country\u2019s next leader sent the yen sliding and drove up yields of long-tenure bonds.<\/p>

Japan\u2019s Nikkei and the Taiwanese weighted index went up 0.69 and 1.47 percent, while Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng went down 0.68 percent<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The company has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for its upcoming premium residential projects in West Chennai. The development spans a 6.6-acre land parcel. The estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of the project is Rs 1,000 crore.<\/p>

Zydus Lifesciences<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has received a Notice of Compliance (NOC) from Health Canada for generic Liothyronine tablets of 5 mcg and 25 mcg dosages. Liothyronine tablets are primarily indicated for treating hypothyroidism. These tablets recorded annual sales of 10.9 million CAD in Canada.<\/p>

Coal India<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has executed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation for collaboration in the exploration and exploitation of critical minerals, along with other minerals of mutual interest.<\/p>
