About 2334 shares advanced, 1657 shares declined, and 154 shares remained unchanged.<\/p><p>Cipla, SBI, Dr Reddy&#8217;s Labs, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Ports were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Tata Steel, TCS, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Life.<\/p><p>On the sectoral front, the metal index shed 0.8 percent, while auto, bank, consumer durables, PSU bank, realty, and pharma added 0.5-1 percent.<\/p><p>Among the broader market indices, the BSE Midcap index rose 0.4%, and the smallcap index gained 0.6%.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section the airline informed the shareholders through a regulatory filing that it added three new aircraft to its operational fleet, including an Airbus A340 wide-body and two Boeing 737s, aiming to meet the surging demand for air travel this holiday season.<\/p><p><strong><b>Godrej Properties<\/b><\/strong><\/p><p>Shares of Godrej Properties went up 2.83 percent along with other real estate shares due to various reasons like Fed rate cut, value buying, and more. The Nifty Realty index closed nearly 2 percent higher.<\/p><p><strong><b>Gokaldas Exports<\/b><\/strong><\/p><p>The shares of the textile company jumped 7.62 percent after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he had spoken to US President Donald Trump over a phone call and the two leaders have &#8220;reviewed good progress achieved in trade negotiations&#8221;. The possibility of further trade talks between India and the US, which may result in a trade deal between the two countries, boosted investor sentiment for the export-oriented textile stocks.<\/p><p><strong><b>Natco Pharma<\/b><\/strong><\/p><p>The shares of Natco Pharma jumped 3.51 percent on October 10 after the Delhi High Court dismissed Swiss pharma giant Roche&#8217;s appeal and allowed the Indian company to sell the spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) drug Risdiplam in India.<\/p><p>Source &#8211;
