Gift Nifty indicates a positive start for the broader index in India, with a gain of 78.5 points or 0.31 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 25,168.5level.<\/p>

The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq advanced for a fourth consecutive session on Monday, as investors geared up for a slew of mega-cap earnings and a Federal Reserve update on interest rate policy later this week.<\/p>

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 313.69 points, or 0.64%, to 49,412.40, the S&P 500 gained 34.62 points, or 0.50%, to 6,950.23, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 100.11 points, or 0.43%, to 23,601.36.<\/p>

Stocks swung between small gains and losses after President Donald Trump reignited the tariff debate by threatening higher levies on South Korea. Currencies steadied after a volatile session.<\/p>

HCL Technologies<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Finergic Solutions Pte, a boutique wealth consulting firm headquartered in Singapore, for 19 million Singapore dollars. The transaction is expected to close by April 30, 2026.<\/p>

Waaree Renewable Technologies<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company will enter into a binding term sheet for the acquisition of an approximately 55 percent stake in Associated Power Structures for Rs 1,225 crore through a mix of primary and secondary transactions, subject to completion of due diligence and customary closing conditions. Associated Power Structures is engaged in the power transmission and distribution business within the infrastructure sector.<\/p>

PVR Inox<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has monetised its entire investment in its subsidiary, Zea Maize Private Limited (ZMPL), one of India\u2019s leading premium snacking companies operating under the 4700BC brand, by selling it to Marico in an all-cash transaction valued at Rs 226.8 crore.<\/p>

Pine Labs<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The fintech platform has announced a strategic partnership with Wio Bank, the Middle East\u2019s leading digital financial platform. The collaboration aims to build a modern acquiring infrastructure for Wio Bank with no legacy technology dependency, enabling faster merchant onboarding, real-time settlement capabilities, and seamless multi-mode payment acceptance at scale.<\/p>

Paradeep Phosphates<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has received a Seizure Memo from the Customs Department for the seizure of 25,000 metric tonnes of technical-grade urea worth Rs 103.30 crore. The company had imported technical-grade urea for the manufacture of NPK fertilisers.<\/p>

Hindustan Copper<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has been declared the preferred bidder against a tender for the grant of a Mining Lease and Composite Licence by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The forward e-auction for the grant of the Composite Licence for the Baghwari\u2013Khirkhori Copper and Associated Mineral Block was successfully concluded on January 22.<\/p>
