Gift Nifty indicates a strong start for the broader index in India, with a gain of 348 points or 1.55 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 22,780.50level.<\/p>

Wall Street ended sharply higher on Tuesday, lifted by speculation about a potential de-escalation in the Middle East conflict that has sent oil prices soaring and \u200cfueled fears of global inflation in recent weeks.<\/p>

All three major U.S. indexes rallied after the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday that U.S. President Donald Trump told aides he was willing to end the military campaign against Iran, even if the Strait of Hormuz remained largely closed.<\/p>

The S&P 500 jumped 2.91% to end Tuesday’s session \u200bat 6,528.52 points. The Nasdaq rallied 3.83% to 21,590.63 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 2.49% to 46,341.51 points.<\/p>

Stocks and bonds rallied, and the dollar wallowed at the start of the Asian trading session on Wednesday on hopes of a de-escalation in the Iran conflict, while significantly better-than-expected economic data for March propelled a rebound in Korean and Japanese shares.<\/p>

Japan\u2019s Nikkei, Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng, and the Taiwanese weighted index rallied up 4.20, 2.12and 3.94 percent, respectively.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

NTPC Green Energy<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PTC India to explore opportunities to sell renewable energy through bilateral arrangements and other market mechanisms. Additionally, the company\u2019s subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy, has signed a Green Ammonia Purchase Agreement (GAPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of green ammonia.<\/p>

Sammaan Capital<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

IHC, through its affiliate Avenir Investment RSC, will become the promoter of Sammaan Capital by acquiring a 41.5 percent stake via a preferential allotment of equity shares and warrants. The company has received an initial tranche of Rs 5,652 crore towards the allotment, with an additional Rs 3,198 crore to be received within 18 months upon conversion of the warrants into fully paid equity shares.<\/p>

Granules India<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company\u2019s wholly owned subsidiary, Granules Life Sciences (GLS), has concluded a recent US FDA inspection of its manufacturing facility at Shamirpet, Telangana, with a classification of Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI). The Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) was issued following a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and pre-approval inspection (PAI) of oral solid dosage manufacturing operations conducted between December 15 and 19, 2025.<\/p>

InterGlobe Aviation<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The board of InterGlobe Aviation has appointed William Walsh as Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory approvals. Walsh\u2019s tenure at IATA will conclude on July 31, 2026, and he is expected to join no later than August 3, 2026.<\/p>

Bharti Airtel<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

The company has announced an investment of US$1 billion by Alpha Wave Global, Carlyle, and Anchorage Capital, through their affiliates, in its subsidiary Nxtra Data to expand its network across India and accelerate growth. Airtel will also participate in this round. Alpha Wave Global will invest US$435 million, Carlyle US$240 million, and Anchorage Capital US$35 million, with the remaining amount to be infused by Airtel.<\/p>
