Karthik had just finished lunch when his phone buzzed.<\/p>

A message popped up in the office group chat.<\/p>

\u201cXYZ stock is flying. Everyone\u2019s buying.\u201d<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

He opened his trading app immediately.<\/p>

The stock was already up 6%.<\/p>

Social media was full of excitement.<\/p>

\u201cThis is just the beginning.\u201d<\/b><\/strong>
\u201cEasy money.\u201d<\/b><\/strong>
\u201cDon\u2019t miss out.\u201d<\/b><\/strong><\/p>

Karthik felt that familiar rush.<\/p>

What if it keeps going?<\/i><\/em><\/p>

What if I miss this move?<\/i><\/em><\/p>

He hadn\u2019t studied the company.
He hadn\u2019t checked the chart.
He didn\u2019t know why it was rising.<\/p>

But everyone sounded confident.<\/p>

So he bought.<\/p>

Fast. Emotional. Without a plan.<\/p>

For the next few minutes, it felt like the right decision.<\/p>

He smiled.<\/p>

Then it began to slip.<\/p>

It was an uncomfortable lesson.<\/p>

But an important one.<\/p>

If he couldn\u2019t answer clearly, he stayed out.<\/p>

Yes, he missed some moves.<\/p>

But he also avoided many bad ones.<\/p>

And he slowly realised something valuable.<\/p>

Missing a trade hurts for a moment.<\/p>

A bad trade can hurt much longer.<\/p>

The market doesn\u2019t know who bought late.
It doesn\u2019t reward excitement.
It doesn\u2019t punish patience.<\/p>

It simply moves.<\/p>

From that point on, Karthik stopped trying to catch every rally.<\/p>

He focused on catching only the right ones.<\/p>
