On the other hand, Nifty Media fell by 1.45%, while FMCG declined by 0.71%. IT also ended with a loss of 0.42%.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-51454\" src=\"https:\/\/flattrade.in\/kosh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-05-20-at-4.29.29-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"341\" height=\"426\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>STOCKS IN NEWS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Parle Industries<\/strong><br \/>\nParle Industries&#8217; share price hit the 5% upper circuit on Wednesday, 20 May, led by strong buying momentum in the counter as investors reacted to the \u201cMelody\u201d moment that went viral online involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GE Vernova T&amp;D India<\/strong><br \/>\nShares of GE Vernova T&amp;D India rose over 7% on May 20 after the company reported a strong set of earnings for the quarter ended March 31,2026. The company&#8217;s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation margin rose 530 basis points to 27.2%.
