S&amp;P\u00a0BSE Sensex\u00a0was in the green hovering around the 49,000 mark while the\u00a0Nifty 50\u00a0index was above 14,700. On opening, Larsen &amp; Toubro and\u00a0State Bank of India\u00a0were the top index gainers. Banking and Finance sector stocks were surging higher with the\u00a0Nifty Bank\u00a0index gained 1% while the\u00a0Nifty PSU Bank\u00a0index jumped 1.4%.
