Indian benchmark indices closed higher after initial losses in the first half of a volatile session. The Sensex closed 0.8% higher at 60545.61 and Nifty ended up 0.85% at 18068.55.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>

Among Nifty sectoral indices, the following gained: PSU Bank (2.15%), Energy (1.5%), Metal (1.45%), IT (1.27%) and FMCG (0.99%). Nifty Private Bank (-0.95%) and Pharma (-0.70%) lost.<\/p>

Indian rupee gained 44 paise to close at 74.06 against the US dollar on Monday.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Wockhardt Ltd<\/strong>: The company reported a net profit of \u20b935 crore in Q2FY22, as against anet loss of \u20b913 crore in the previous quarter of FY22. sales stood at \u20b9862 crore in the second quarter from \u20b9860 crore in the previous quarter. Ebitda margin was 12.7% in the quarter, compared with 12.5% in the first quarter of FY21.<\/p>\n

UltraTech Cement<\/strong>: Shares of the company jumped more than 4% on Monday on strong demand forecast. The robust demand is from the infrastructure sector such as highway construction, railways, metro rail, irrigation projects, airports and urban housing market in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.<\/p>\n

Sundaram Finance<\/strong>: The NBFC registered a rise in its net profit of \u20b9210.65 crore in Q2FY22 from \u20b9191.99 crore in the same period last year. Its operating profit rose to \u20b91021.82 from \u20b9992.96 crore.<\/p>\n

Larsen & Toubro Ltd<\/strong>: The construction arm of the company won significant orders up to Rs 2500 crore. Its Building and Factories business won an order from DRDO to construct their flight control system facility at Bengaluru. Shares of the company rose 2.53% in intraday trading before closing at 0.83% higher the previous day’s close.<\/p>\n

Kotak Mahindra Bank<\/strong>: The lender said it will offer home loans at 6.55% with effective from November 9 to December 10. The new rates will be applicable to fresh home loan borrowers and balance transfer customers.<\/p>\n

Motherson Sumi Systems<\/strong>: The company’s board has approved the issuance of rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable non-convertible debentures of face value of Rs 10 Lakh each, for an aggregate principal amount of up to Rs 1000 crore on a private placement basis, in one or more series or tranches to certain eligible investors.<\/p>\n

SpiceJet<\/strong>: The airline has launched a new scheme for customer where the passengers can pay for tickets in three, six or 12 installments. The three-month EMI option will not bear any additional cost. Passengers have to submit details like PAN number, Aadhar number or VID and verify it with a one-time password to avail the EMI scheme.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
