Gift Nifty indicates a positive start for the Indian market; US Market ended higher; Asian stocks opened mixed

Gift Nifty indicates a positive start for the broader index in India, with a gain of 37.5 points or 0.14 percent. The Nifty futures were trading aroundthe  26,053.50 level.

Wall Street’s main indexes posted record closing highs for the second day in a row on Monday as investors were hopeful about the prospects for a U.S.-China trade deal and looked forward to a week packed with high-profile technology earnings and a widely expected U.S. interest rate cut.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 337.47 points, or 0.71%, to 47,544.59. The S&P 500 advanced 83.47 points, or 1.23%, to 6,875.16 for its first close above the 6,800 level. The Nasdaq Composite gained 432.59 points, or 1.86%, at 23,637.46.

Asian shares consolidated recent hefty gains on Tuesday as hopes for an easing in global trade tensions kept risk appetites keen, while the bull run in tech stocks counted on a bumper round of big-cap earnings this week.

Japan’s Nikkei and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng went down 0.15 percent and 0.12 percent while the Taiwanese weighted index went up 0.29 percent.

Jomei Investments is likely to exit Aditya Birla Capital by selling up to a 2% stake via block deals, with a floor price of Rs 304.55 per share.

Dilip Buildcon

The company has been declared the L-1 bidder for a road project worth Rs 879.3 crore by the National Highways Authority of India in Tamil Nadu.

NTPC Green Energy

The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Paradip Port Authority to collaborate on implementing green hydrogen-based mobility projects in the Paradip Port area and to explore the possibility of deploying projects for green hydrogen and its derivatives.

Epack Prefab Technologies

The company has received purchase orders worth Rs 139.61 crore from JK Cement, Technical Associates Transformers, and CG Power and Industrial Solutions.

Rail Vikas Nigam

The company has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L-1) for the construction of the substructure of a bridge project worth Rs 165.5 crore from the North Eastern Railway.
