PRE MARKET
Gift Nifty indicates a negative start for the broader index in India, with a loss of 51.50 points or 0.20 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 25,813.50 level.
Wall Street ended sharply lower on Tuesday as investors worried about AI creating more competition for software makers, keeping them on edge ahead of quarterly reports from Alphabet and Amazon later this week.
The S&P 500 declined 0.84% to end the session at 6,917.81 points. The Nasdaq declined 1.43% to 23,255.19 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.34% to 49,240.99 points.
Most Asian stocks dropped after a tech selloff dragged down US benchmarks and saw a rotation into more economically sensitive industries.
Japan’s Nikkei and the Taiwanese weighted index went down -0.59 and -0.04 percent ,respectively.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation
IRFC has entered into a strategic tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) and Sagarmala Finance Corporation to jointly explore structured financing for the development of the Outer Harbour Project at V.O. Chidambaranar Port, along with other port-led and multimodal connectivity projects.
NBCC India
The company has received construction orders worth Rs 39.19 crore from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), and an order worth Rs 232.13 crore from the Department of Fisheries, Uttarakhand, for the construction of the proposed Namami Ganga Aquarium-cum-Discovery Learning Centre at Pashulok, Uttarakhand.
Ramco Systems
Promoter Ramco Management bought 10.2 lakh shares (2.7 percent of paid-up equity) in Ramco Systems at Rs 500.02 per share for Rs 51 crore. Meanwhile, HDFC Mutual Fund sold 9.74 lakh shares (a 2.6 percent stake) at Rs 499.2 per share for Rs 48.65 crore. HDFC AMC, through its Balanced Advantage Fund, held a 5.45 percent equity shareholding in Ramco Systems as of December 2025.
Capacite Infraprojects
Singularity AMC-owned Singularity Equity Fund I sold 6.21 lakh shares (a 0.73 percent stake) in Capacite Infraprojects at Rs 227.39 per share for Rs 14.12 crore.
Vardhman Polytex
Pine Oak Global Fund bought 1.5 crore shares (a 5.18 percent stake) in Vardhman Polytex at Rs 6.9 per share for Rs 10.35 crore from Raminder Pal Singh.
