POST MARKET
The equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded by nearly 2 percent on Tuesday, on media reports said Iran has agreed to negotiate with the US.
At close,
Sensex was up 1,372.06 points or 1.89 percent at 74,068.45
Nifty was up 445.15 points or 1.98 percent at 22,957.80.
About 2843 shares advanced, 1257 shares declined, and 152 shares were unchanged.
Top gainers – L&T, Interglobe Aviation, Asian Paints, Eternal, and Bajaj Finance
Top losers – Coal India, Adani Enterprises, Sun Pharma, Cipla, and Power Grid Corp.
All the sectoral indices ended in the green with auto, IT, metal, media, bank, consumer durables, PSU Bank, Private bank, infra, consumer durables up 2% each.
Among the broader market indices, Nifty Midcap and smallcap indices added 2.6 percent each.

Asian paints
Crude-sensitive stock Asian paints rallied almost 5 percent on March 24 after it is said that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has agreed to negotiate with the United States and reach an agreement.
Suzlon
Suzlon Group shares rose almost 3 percent on Tuesday after the company secured a wind energy project of 100 MW from Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL). This also marks Suzlon’s fourth PSU order of FY26, reflecting its growing strength in the ecosystem owing to its end-to-end capabilities, according to a company statement.
Olectra Greentech
Shares of Olectra Greentech jumped around 4.5 percent, after the government said it would provide 10,000 air-conditioned e-buses would be provided to 116 cities across 26 states/UTs by the end of 2027 under the PM-eBus Sewa Scheme, and a new scheme would be launched thereafter to provide another 35,000 e-buses.
