Gift Nifty indicates a firm opening for the broader index in India, with a gain of 59 points or 0.23 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 26,149 level.
All three major U.S. stock indexes posted record closing highs again on Tuesday as Nvidia shares gained following news it will build artificial intelligence supercomputers for the U.S. energy department, and as investors were optimistic about corporate earnings ahead of key results from megacaps this week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 161.78 points, or 0.34%, to 47,706.37, the S&P 500 gained 15.73 points, or 0.23%, to 6,890.89, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 190.04 points, or 0.8%, to 23,827.49.
Asian shares got a lift from Wall Street on Wednesday thanks to a fresh wave of optimism over artificial intelligence, as investors braced for a busy day headlined by the Federal Reserve’s decision and earnings from technology heavyweights.
Japan’s Nikkei and the Taiwanese weighted index went up 2.05 percent and 0.83 percent.

The real estate developer has raised Rs 875 crore through a private placement of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) to the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The proceeds will be used for the development of mid-income and sustainable housing projects and for the reduction of existing debt.

Swan Defence and Heavy Industries
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders has signed an exclusive Teaming Agreement (TA) with Swan Defence for collaboration in the design and construction of Landing Platform Docks (LPDs) for the Indian Navy.
