Gift Nifty (Nifty futures trading in international markets) is indicating a lower open for India’s domestic markets. Gift Nifty was hovering around 24,645, which is about 21 points below the previous Nifty futures close – signalling a weak start for Indian indices
The US stock market ended lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lose 111.10 points, or 0.25%, to 45,184.71, while the S&P 500 lose 44.72 points, or 0.69%, to 6,415.54. The Nasdaq Composite ended 175.92 points, or 082%, down at 21,279.63.

Waaree Energies
The Board has approved the company’s acquisition of a 64% stake in Kotson’s for Rs 192 crore. Following the acquisition, Kotson’s will become a subsidiary of the company. The Board also approved the acquisition of 100% shareholding of the company’s step-down subsidiary Impactgrid Renewables from its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies.
PNC Infratech
The company has emerged as the lowest bidder for the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi. The project includes the extension of the runway along with re-carpeting, strengthening of the existing runway, and allied works, with a quoted amount of Rs 297.01 crore.
Adani Power
The company has received approval from the Ministry of Coal to commence operations at the Dhirauli mine in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. According to the geological report, the block has a gross geological reserve of 620 MMT and a net geological reserve of 558 MMT.
Yes Bank
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of stake by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Yes Bank from State Bank of India, Axis Bank, Bandhan Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. SMBC had earlier received approval from the RBI to acquire a 24.99% stake in Yes Bank.
