PRE MARKET
Gift Nifty indicates a negative start for the broader index in India, with a loss of 39 points or 0.16 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 24,729.5 level.
U.S. stocks closed lower on Thursday as early gains faded, following the latest round of corporate earnings and economic data, as investors awaited results from megacaps Amazon and Apple due after the closing bell.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 330.30 points, or 0.74%, to 44,130.98, the S&P 500 lost 23.51 points, or 0.37%, to 6,339.39, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 7.23 points, or 0.03%, to 21,122.45.
Asian shares fell on Friday after the U.S. slapped dozens of trading partners with steep tariffs, while investors anxiously await U.S. jobs data that could make or break the case for a Fed rate cut next month.
Japan’s Nikkei, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, and the Taiwanese weighted index went down 0.41, 0.1,7, and 0.30 percent respectively.

Gujarat Gas
The company has collaborated with Waree Energy by signing a Gas Sales Agreement for the supply of 50,000 scmd of PNG to its lithium-ion cell manufacturing unit at Valsad, Gujarat. This partnership will pave the way for sustainable energy solutions and help reduce the carbon footprint. The plant is currently under construction and is expected to be commissioned in Q4 of the current FY26.
Alfa Transformers
Bikash Kumar Dutt has resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective July 31.
Deepak Nitrite
The company’s subsidiary, Deepak Chem Tech, has issued 50 lakh 9% Optionally Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares (OCRPS), with a face value of Rs 100 each, aggregating to Rs 50 crore, to the parent company.
RPP Infra Projects
The company has received a letter of acceptance for a new work order worth Rs 1.43 crore. The order involves the supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and certification of a Kone-made stretcher-cum-passenger elevator for a service building, including civil and electrical work at NNTPS.
PNB Housing Finance
Girish Kousgi has resigned as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company to pursue opportunities outside, effective October 28, 2025.
