PRE MARKET REPORT
Indian benchmark indices Senex and Nifty 50 are likely to have a weak start, following the losses in the global market.
Gift Nifty indicates a negative start for the broader index in India, with a loss of 135.5 points or 0.60 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around 22,463 level.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 320.01 points, or 0.84%, to close at 37,645.59, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 335.35 points, or 2.15%, to end at 15,267.91. The S&P 500 has lost $5.83 trillion in market value, for its steepest four days of losses since the index was created in the 1950s
Asian markets fell on Wednesday as investors braced themselves for U.S. President Donald Trump’s country-specific tariffs, which are set to come into effect midnight stateside.
Japan’s Nikkei shares were down by 2.6 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng decreased over 1.5 percent, and the Taiwanese benchmark sank 1.92 percent.

The company has launched its Rs 1250 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) on April 8, with the floor price set at Rs 1019.25 per share.
Concord Biotech
The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has approved the company to market its Teriflunomide tablets, which are available in 7 mg and 14 mg strengths. Teriflunomide tablets are used for the treatment of patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis. According to IQVIATM, the market size of Teriflunomide tablets is approximately $402 million in the US, and the global market size is approximately $908 million.
Sasken Technologies
Sasken Design Solutions Pte, Singapore, is a subsidiary of Sasken Technologies. The subsidiary company has now acquired 100 percent of the share capital of BORQS International Holding Corp for $40 million. Following this acquisition, BORQS International will become a step-down subsidiary of the company.
Vodafone Idea
The board has allotted 3,695 crore equity shares of the company to the Government of India for Rs 36,950 crore. After this allotment the Government of India’s shareholdings in Vodafone has risen to 48.99 percent.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation
The company has entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement with Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India to explore renewable energy and green hydrogen projects across India.
