This recovery was driven by positive global cues, particularly the decision of a U.S. federal court to prevent reciprocal tariffs from being put in place, which gave a boost to investor mood globally.

The Bank stocks zoomed up by 2.47% to close at ₹825, the leading gainer on the Nifty50 index. This happened even as SEBI issued an interim order stopping former CEO Sumant Kathpalia and four other top executives from suspected insider trading over postponed disclosures of derivative losses.
SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd)
SAIL announced a 11.1% year-on-year growth in net profit at ₹1,251 crore for the Q4 FY25 period, while revenue grew 4.9% to ₹29,316.1 crore. SAIL also declared a final dividend of ₹1.6 a share. The stock rose to 0.87% after the news to close at ₹130.08 on the NSE.
Avanti Feeds
Avanti Feeds had a strong Q4 showing, with net profit surging 39.6% year on year to ₹157.2 crore and revenue going up 7.9% to ₹1,385.1 crore. The board has proposed a dividend of ₹9 per share for FY25. The stock responded well, rising 6% to close.
Samvardhana Motherson International
Stocks of Samvardhana Motherson International gained 2% following the company‘s announcement of a 20% quarter-on-quarter rise in net profit to ₹1,051 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue advanced by 6% to ₹29,317 crore, though EBITDA margins fell a tad to 9% from 9.7% last year.
