Uma Exports Limited plans to raise Rs 60 crore from initial public offering (IPO). The subscription for IPO opens on March 28, 2022 (Monday) and ends on March 30, 2022 (Wednesday) .
The issue consists of fresh issue of equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 apiece. The issue price is set at Rs 65-68 per equity share.
Uma Exports Limited is engaged in trading and marketing of agricultural produce and commodities such as sugar, spices such as dry red chillies, turmeric, coriander, cumin seeds, food grains like rice, wheat, corn, sorghum and tea, pulses and agricultural feed like soybean meal and rice bran de-oiled cake.
The company also has import business and it imports lentils, faba beans, black urad dal and tur dal in India in bulk quantities. Its major imports markets are from Canada, Australia and Burma. The company is mainly involved in business-to-business trading and it highly specialises in sugar and lentils trading. The company maintains stocks and distribute them to different institutional parties like manufacturers, exporters, etc. and also takes orders in bulk quantities.
The company’s export markets are Sri Lanka [36.16%], Afghanistan [32.43%], Bangladesh [16.06%], China [9.25%], Bahrain [1.69 ], Djibouti [3.61%], UAE [0.80%] .
