Ami Organics is a manufacturer of speciality chemicals and the company is set to open for initial public offering on September 1 and close on September 3. The company is planning to raise Rs 569.63 crore and it has fixed the price band between Rs 603 and Rs 610 per equity share.
The issue consists of fresh issue of equity share worth Rs 200 crore and offer for sale of up to 60.59 lakh equity shares by promoter and existing shareholders.
Ami organics is a research and development (R&D) based manufacturer of specialty chemicals with a focus on development and production of advanced pharmaceutical intermediates. The company has developed and commercialised over 450 pharma intermediates for APIs across 17 key therapeutic areas since inception. The company recently acquired two new manufacturing facilities from Gujarat Organics Ltd to expand its manufacturing capabilities in specialty chemicals.
The company supplies pharma intermediates used for manufacturing of APIs and NCEs to various multi-national pharmaceutical companies across Europe, China, Japan, Israel, UK, Latin America and the USA.
Some of the company’s domestic clients include Laurus Labs, Cadila Healthcare and Cipla Limited and some of international clients include Organike s.r.l.a Socio Unico, Fermion Oy, Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici S.p.A, Chori Co. Ltd., Medichem S.A. and Midas Pharma GmbH.
Nareshkumar Ramjibhai Patel, Chetankumar Chhaganlal Vaghasia, Shital Nareshbhai Patel and Parul Chetankumar Vaghasia are promoters of the company.
