Benchmark Indian stock indices has surged by 1.4 %, with support from metal, IT, realty stocks gains. The Sensex suged 1.40% to 60138.46 and Nifty gained by 1.46% to 17929.65.
All the sectoral indices ended in the green with metal, IT and realty indices up 2-3, Broader markets mid-cap stocks and small-cap stocks rose over 1%.
Indian rupee down 01 paise to 74.86 against the US dollar on Monday.

Steel Authority of India (SAIL): The Domestic steel giant share traded 12% after 10-fold jump in Q2 profit, During July-September period the prift is at Rs 4,338.75 crore, Total consolidated income also increased to Rs 27,007.02 crore, from Rs 17,097.57 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Tata Motors: The auto-maker said its total wholesales increased by 30 per cent to 67,829 units in October as compared with the same period last year.
IRCTC: The company’s net profit from continuing operations surged to ₹158.5 crore, up 386%, The company had reported a profit after tax of ₹32.6 crore in the same quarter last year. Share price recovered from early lows, with the stock trading over 1% higher apiece on the BSE
