Settlement Holiday on Account of Buddha Pournima

We would like to inform you that Monday (May 16, 2022) is declared a settlement holiday by NSE, BSE and MCX on account of Buddha Pournima. In addition, traders will not be able to trade in Currency Derivative segment on May 16, 2022.

Further, you will not be able to sell shares on Monday (May 16) that are bought on Friday (May 13, 2022) due to settlement holiday.

We would also like to inform you that pay-out requests which are received between Friday (May 13, 2022, after 8:30 a.m.) and Tuesday (May 17, 2022, before 08:30 a.m.) will be processed and credited to your bank account on Tuesday (May 17, 2022).

Note: Settlement holidays are those days when settlement of trades do not take place as per the usual T+2 days because of clearing holiday, but stock markets function as usual. Settlements will happen on Tuesday (May 17,2022).
