Gift Nifty indicates a positive start for the Indian market; US Market ended flat; Asian stocks opened higher

Gift Nifty indicates a positive start for the broader index in India, with a gain of 69 points or 0.28 percent. The Nifty futures were trading around the 24,911 level.

U.S. stock futures drift higher amid rate cut bets. Wall Street retreats from record amid dismal jobs data

The S&P 500 declined 0.32% to end the session at 6,481.50 points. The Nasdaq declined 0.03% to 21,700.39 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.08% to 45,439.33 points.

Asian markets were trading higher in the early trade on Monday as investors assessed Japan Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba’s resignation announcement over the weekend, and eyed key economic data in the region.

Japan’s Nikkei, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng the Taiwanese weighted index went up 1.58, 0.42, and 0.52 percent, respectively.

Zydus Lifesciences

The US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) inspected the group’s injectable manufacturing plant in Vadodara, Gujarat, from August 25 to September 5, and concluded the inspection with four observations. There were no data integrity-related observations.

Aurobindo Pharma

The US FDA inspected the company’s Unit-XII, which includes both oral solids and injectable manufacturing units, at Bachupally, Telangana, from August 25 to September 5. Following the inspection, the US FDA issued a Form 483 with 8 observations. All observations are procedural in nature.

Hyundai Motor India

Hyundai Motor India announced that it will pass on the entire benefit of the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate reduction on passenger vehicles (PVs) to its customers, resulting in a price cut of up to Rs 2.4 lakh. The new prices will become effective on September 22, the date the revised GST rates come into effect.

Mahindra and Mahindra

The auto major announced a price cut across its ICE SUV portfolio, with immediate effect. Popular models like the Thar, Scorpio, Bolero, XUV700, and Scorpio-N will now be available with savings ranging from Rs 1.01 lakh to Rs 1.56 lakh, depending on the model and variant.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors announced a reduction in prices across its cars and SUVs by up to Rs 1.55 lakh, effective September 22, when the revised tax slabs come into force.

PNB Housing Finance

The Board has approved the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) up to a maximum amount of Rs 5,000 crore, with or without a green shoe option, on a private placement basis, in one or more tranches.
