Below are the required documents for opening NRI Account:

1. Valid Passport /Overseas Citizen of India Card / Person of Indian 
Origin Card 
2. PAN Card 
3. Proof of Residence Status (Visa, Work Permit, Resident Card) 
4.  Overseas Address Proof ( Driver’s License, Electricity, Telephone Bill, etc.) 
5. FATCA Declaration Form 
6. FEMA Declaration Form  
7. Passport-size Photo 
8.  Cancelled cheque from the NRO or NRE bank account. 
9.  Bank statement or passbook for the last six months. 
10. Latest salary slip. 
11.  Form 16 or Income Tax Return (ITR) acknowledgment. 
12.  Net worth certificate
