What is margin penalty?

Margin penalty is a fine imposed on trades that are executed without maintaining the required margin as per rules laid down by market regulator Sebi. So it is important for all traders of FLATTRADE to maintain the required margin as mandated by the regulators for the execution of the trade. This is applicable for all open positions of equity and derivative segments.
