How to Freeze your Trading account on Flattrade on Web/Mobile?

  1. Open your flattrade account and click your Client ID

2. Click the ‘Freeze Account’ button on the corner of your screen

3. Ensure that you have no open orders or open positions when you freeze your trading account and click ‘yes’ to confirm

Note that the open orders (if any) will be automatically canceled when you freeze your trading account, but your Open positions will not be canceled automatically.

  • In case you have open positions after freezing your account, you can use the ‘Call and trade’ facility to close your position
  • If you did not use the ‘call and trade’ facility to close your positions, it will then be closed as per the RMS policy
  • Flattrade is not held accountable for any losses incurred due to the freezing of accounts by the clients on their voluntary
  • The screen will give an alert after successfully freezing your trading account

  • Once the account has been frozen you won’t be able to log on to the Flattrade web, mobile, or desktop and the Wall platform will also not work
  • To reactivate your account, you should unfreeze your Trading account by sending mail to [email protected] from your registered email ID.
