What is ‘Market Lot Size’ and ‘Minimum Order Quantity’ for an IPO?

The market Lot size is the number of shares in a lot. There is minimum lot size and maximum lot size. The total minimum lot size amount should not cross Rs 15,000. The total maximum lot size amount must not cross Rs 200,000.
We will see a couple of examples. The first example will be Sansera Engineering. Its minimum lot size is 1, which will have 20 equity shares and the value of that lot is ₹14,880. The maximum lot size is 13, which will have 260 shares (13* 20 shares) and the value of that lot is Rs 193,440.
The second example will be Vijaya Diagnostic Centre. The minimum lot size is one that will have 28 shares and the value of that lot will be Rs 14,868. The maximum lot size is 13 which will have 364 equity shares aggregating to Rs 193,284.
