What is the difference between a normal trading account and MTF funding account?

In normal trading account Company allows you to purchase the shares/securities and hold them for a period of T+2+5 days in the CUSA account. If the payments are not received, the shares shall be liquidated by the Company on the 7th day.

But under the MTF account, the client can purchase the shares and hold them for a period beyond 7 days (up to 365 days) by meeting the required margin.
