Can I pledge my mutual fund for availing margin?

Yes. Flattrade allows you to pledge your mutual fund (MF) to avail margin. You can use the mutual fund units as collateral to borrow money against the value of the units for your trading requirements. You have to send a mail to [email protected] with relevant details such as folio number, mutual fund scheme and the number of units you would like to pledge.
