Why was my Profit from the trade, I made today not available in “Move funds”?

The Profit for the day is not considered the available margin as it is settled on the next settlement day. 

For example, If you have a 1 lakh margin available in the “NSE/BSE” and you have traded in the Equity/ Derivatives/ Currency segment for the day and utilized Rs.80,000 and made a profit of Rs.6,000 and you have closed all the positions then the available margin to move the fund from “NSE/BSE” to “COM” is Rs.1 Lakh.
