What is AMO?

AMO order stands for After Market Orders, and this can be placed after the market hours.

AMO orders are allowed for all product types (CNC/NRML/MIS) except for BO/CO.  Margin will not be validated at the time of placing the orders and when the order is pushed to the market, margin validates and trades accordingly.

FLATTRADE allows you to place orders for the next trading day using the AMO feature, this is especially helpful for people who can’t actively track the markets during the live session – 9:15 am to 3:30 pm. All AMO received will be sent to the NSE/ BSE/MCX /CDS.
